These are the slides that we gave at the Faroes October 2008 workshop, where we launched the Language Box. The first set describes the evolution of the Language Box from the early Claret repository, the second set describes the early results from our survey of language teachers.
These are the three original design storyboards for the Language Box site (codenamed Puffin Share :-) Many of the features (such as inline previews and comments) have been implemented, but we still have a little way to go with profiles. Happily the look and feel of the real site is somewhat better than the mockups!

The discussion of caste in Sikhism is a taboo subject. However, there are many caste based groups. This presentation looks at how caste based groups may have originated in India and the diaspora.
This is a video on how to pronounce all of the alphabet, however beware that parts of it seem to be more Latin American Spanish e.g. pronunciation of "c".
Develop a native-like accent, feel successful from the very beginning, progress more quickly . . . there are lots of reasons that good pronunciation is important.
